Our team

It is hard to imagine a pre-school with as many collective years of child-care, teaching and early-years education experience, but that is just one of the many outstanding features you'll find at Parkview.

Over the years, Parkview has attracted many excellent carers and educators into their sought after Practitioner (or Key Person) roles. Often it is parents themselves, so inspired by the quality of care given to their own children at Parkview, who can't resist returning to Parkview as one of the team. We like to think that it is this loyalty and continuity that is at the heart of what makes Parkview feel like a home from home for many children.

All of our practitioners are trained in the EYFS (Early Years Foundation  Stage) Goals.

Our Key People

Each of Parkview's Key People is responsible for the wellbeing, progress and development of a small group of children. We are frequently complimented on our ability to comfort and console children who are settling in, and to reassure anxious parents, perhaps leaving their child for the first time. Parkview welcomes parents wishing to stay and help settle their child for as long as they would like, and gently offers guidance and support as and when parents feel it's the right time to leave their child in Parkview's safe hands.

When you see the attachments that the children make with their Key Person, and sense for yourself the warm, calm and nurturing environment, you'll see why some parents have suggested that Parkview's trusted team might better be described as a talented team of 'Child Whisperers'!
