Funding & Fees

What funding do you accept?
We accept Government funded hours and childcare vouchers. All children receive 15 hours funded childcare the term after their 3rd birthday. We will provide you with a funding form upon registration. Once you have completed this we are able to process it and apply for the funding on your behalf. You do not need to worry as Hayley our funding queen will take care of the rest. This comes directly to us.
Fees for additional hours
Wanting addition hours your funding does not cover ? We charge £6.00 per hour for 3 years and above and £8.00 per hour for 2 year olds. These will be involved to you at the start of every term.
Voluntary Consumable Charge
As a registered charity, Parkview Community Playgroup aims to provide a rich, engaging, and high-quality early years experience for all children.

To help us continue offering a wide range of resources, activities, and experiences, we ask families to make a voluntary consumable contribution of £3.00 per day of attendance.
These contributions help cover the cost of essential consumable items and experiences that are not fully funded through government early education funding, including:

-
Arts, crafts, and creative resources
-
Play and learning materials
-
Milk and refreshments provided during sessions
-
Sun cream for outdoor play during warmer months
-
Gardening and outdoor learning resources
-
Cooking and baking ingredients for activities
-
Community visits and local outings, such as trips to local shops and places of interest
-
Celebration events and seasonal activities
-
Hygiene and cleaning supplies used throughout the setting
-
Additional resources that enhance children's learning and development
-

The voluntary consumable charge enables us to enrich children's experiences, support their learning, and maintain a stimulating environment where every child can thrive.

If you have any questions regarding consumable charges, please speak confidentially with a member of the management team.

For example:
-
Up to 10 minutes late – No charge
-
11–20 minutes late – £10 charge

If you know that you will be delayed, please contact the setting as soon as possible. Repeated late collections may result in a review of your childcare arrangements.

These charges help cover the additional staffing costs incurred when staff are required to remain beyond their contracted working hours to supervise children safely.
