Cakes, fun and sparkly things!

As a community-led pre-school, we

take enormous pride in organising

fabulous fundraising events that

the whole community can enjoy.

Throughout the year you'll find details of our 'coffee and play' mornings, extravaganzas, charitable events and the not-to-be-missed Christmas Shopping Night on our Facebook Event pages.

Most of our fundraisers raise funds for additional resources and ongoing improvements that aim to benefit our Parkview children and the broader pre-school community where possible.

What people say...

'It was a wonderful evening, and I was so pleased to be a part of it. Congratulations for organising such an excellent event.'

Stallholder, 2016 Christmas Shopping Night

'Sorry I couldn't make it [to the Teddy Bear's Picnic].  It sounded like fun.  Your events are always brilliant :-)' Kathy McColl, June 2017

'Charlie (and my mum!) had a fab time!'

Parkview Parent, 2017 Easter Extravaganza

Other ways to raise funds

We rely on support from our Parkview families to keep the pre-school as outstanding as it is. Some of the many ways that parents help us to raise funds are:

  • helping to promote and run our events;

  • applying for match funding and grants;

  • organising annual Parkview gifts and activities that the children can be involved with, e.g. tea-towel production;

  • managing Boxclever Press (formerly Organised Mum) merchandise sales;

  • making donations;

  • registering with Easyfundraising, where you can shop with your favourite online stores and, at no extra cost, raise funds for Parkview.

How our children benefit

Each year we consider what additional and replacement resources are needed for the children. Most recently we have revamped our cosy-carpet area, added planters to our outdoor space, bought a vitally needed all-weather gazebo, restocked our toy cupboards with a new easel and

geo-mags, and updated some of our technology.

We welcome opportunities and suggestions for ways to improve the outdoor play area for the benefit of the broader community of pre-school age children. We are fortunate to have the support of the Co-op Chandler's Ford. They have, this year presented us with a cheque for £400.
